Ponte Ciodo
Venezia is a city of 118 little islands connects by over 400 bridges. Originally, Venetian bridges had no handrails, so seeing Ponte Ciodo (Nail Bridge) was a treat and jogged my memory of the better known Ponte del Diavolo (Devil’s bridge) on the island of Torcello.
Ponte Ciodo was named after the noble family that owned it but its Torcello twin name makes me wonder…
