Lido di Venezia are the outer islands forming the Venetian lagoon. They are inhabited and have amazing views of Venezia and the lagoon. In the evening we walked along the quay and watched the cruise ships and ferry’s work their way out of the lagoon and into the Adriatic to their destinations all around the Mediterranean.
This elderly couple sat on the marbled edge watching the comings and goings of the lagoon…
