The doors of the barn at the family home are surrounded by an old Wisteria vine. It held tools and my uncles Lancia when I was young. We would go in to repair broken items from within the house or just to explore the old hand tools.
A single hanging light with a shade hangs in the middle and it has that peculiar fragrance of spent oil, grass clippings, and musk that is common to old garages…
…or what I have come to identify as old garages…
