Cavaletta
Molini di Stalis, are a pair of mills. The oldest of which was built in 1432. Sitting on the Fiume Lemene in the town of Guaro, it’s a reminder of a slower time when we using nature to help grind grain. Along the river nature lives on with fish, birds and butterflies living in harmony with man’s devices.
On this warm day a very bright green grasshopper with red eyes was resting on the handrail of a bridge. Standing out agains the red wood he was non plussed by my presence allowed me to take his photograph…
