Casa Familiare
Our home has been in the family for a long while. It was the center of our family business. During World War II it became the permanent residence for my fathers family.
It contains the memories of my family in fact and in spirit. How is that when in all I’ve lived there for less than a year? Still memories of my grandfather, grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins flood me whenever I stay there.
It makes me question whether memories could be genetically passed along…
