Dawn Walk
My dawn walks have become a ritual of sorts.
Weekdays walking around the neighborhood before the start of my work day, is a gentle way of waking up. The stillness of the air and whatever the weather brings, bracing me for whats to come.
But the weekends are special, finding rural paths to bring me closer to nature. Deer, rabbits, squirrels, and the rare coyote, or bobcat, makes me feel connected to this earth. A sense that all is right.
… or it’s just me sneaking in 4-5 miles before I am fully awake. Keeps my protests of having to exercise at bay!

Of all your images that I have seen for many years, this one goes down as my current favorite. I love the quality of light. The clarity makes me feel that I am there. It is magical to say nothing of the terrific composition that feels all balanced.
Happy New Year!

A beautiful, mysterious, fairy tale like image, Marco. I love the light filtering through the trees and the beckoning path. Happy New Year!
