Angelic Disguise
Emissaries of the divine? Agents of events suggesting something larger than us is at play – something mystical?
Beyond the first line of whimsical, if not fickle angels that offer us amazing parking spaces, are the ones that make magically vanish the challenges we have lost sleep over and in our darkest moments hold that which we cannot, just long enough, to catch our breath so we can keep moving.
But what do angels do when they don’t have some crisis to help us with? I don’t know of any Angel lounges or bars or precinct headquarters where they wait to be called into action. They just seem to be out there every moment, disguised… as the driver who just left that parking space for you, as a stranger’s warm smile or giggle after sharing one of life’s amusing and oh so human moments, as a bird’s song or flight taking us along on their wing or a cats purring insistence for attention into a relaxing moment away… returning from the distraction to a perfect solution.
Distraction? Hmmmm…
Disguise? Huhhh!
Camouflaged before our very eyes in the common and familiar is where all magical entities live. Because of their constancy and familiarity we tend to disregard them, so in fact, they aren’t hiding at all! Take this moment to notice and embrace their helping presence in every moment in our lives.
Have you hugged an angel today?

I never thought of that way. Do angels need hugs? They probably need acknowledgement for sure. Michael is one of my favorites. Dreamy photo.

I’m not sure but it seems that if you are grateful and acknowledge their efforts on your behalf, you starts seeing how much they actually do – maybe even do more… I’m a huggy person, so if they need one or not I’d like to give them my gratitude as a hug. Michael the movie? Have a copy in my library… nuff said… 😉
